The gyromat instrument series is a range of high precision surveying gyroscopes manufactured by DMT Germany, which is the result of more than 60 years of experience in the development and manufacture of gyroscopic measuring instruments. The fully automatic measurement procedure and measurement technique that needs no preliminary orientation, provides the greatest accuracy in determining reference direction (true north) in those areas where other methods cannot be efficiently used, for example in underground mining, tunneling, shipyards, dockyards and other defense applications.
